Carter W. Tremayne
Co-Founder, Vice-Chair of the Board, Treasurer
Carter Tremayne is currently a finance executive in the pharmaceutical industry working for a global pharmaceutical company with corporate origins in Japan. Carter directly oversees all R&D spending outside of Asia for the nearly $2 billion spent annually on R&D in the Oncology, Cardiovascular and Specialty Medicine therapeutic areas. He also holds positions on the company’s Global R&D Finance Committee and the Global R&D Finance Leadership Team.
Previously, Carter spent 21 years at Fortune 500 health care leader, Johnson and Johnson. Holding numerous positions within the Consumer, Medical Device, and Corporate divisions where he supported Licensing and Acquisition, R&D, Operations, Sales and Marketing and QA organizations. He provided financial expertise and recommendations on all major growth and productivity initiatives and liaised with top executives, including President, Chief Financial and Board Members for all licensing and acquisition activities within the subsidiaries he supported.
In 2017, Carter along with his wife Lisa established The Bloom Foundation to increase awareness on the most common complication of childbirth – Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD). Carter serves as Vice-Chair of the Board and Treasurer for The Bloom Foundation.
Carter and Lisa have seven children, Brandon, Matt, Elizabeth, Alec, Dan, Caroline, Nesi and reside in Lincroft, NJ.
